Everett, better known as "Bill", grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He served an apprenticeship, making leaded stain glass windows, from 1950 to 1952. In 1952 Bill joined the U.S. Navy and served until 1956. He attended school at the University of Kansas and received his degree in Electrical Engineering in 1961. Bill worked for the Naval Weapons Laboratory in Corona, California as an Instrumentation Engineer from 1961 until retirement in 1990.
He has lived in Riverside, California since 1963. He was divorced from Marilyn on June 24, 1976. Later Bill met Anna Louise Chambers and married her on October 8, 1977 in Riverside, CA. He and Anna have three married children and five grandchildren.
Bill's interests include genealogy, traveling, reading, and woodworking.
