After Pearl Harbor Z. B. went to work in the ship yards since he was 4F and could not enlist in the service. Z. B. and Mildred had two boys and two girls. Z. B. and his family later moved to Washington where he worked in the ship yards. Z. B. died in 1992 from conditions relating to a heart attack.
