• Notes: William Edgar, known as "Zack", was born in Tennessee in 1886 and moved to Oklahoma as an adult. There he met and married Rosa Geneva Green in 1907. They had five children. His first daughter, Fannie Lee, was born on his twenty-first birthday. Zack worked in the old fields in Oklahoma and also as a farmer. In 1940 the family moved to Lodi, California, where daughter Raye and family were living. In 1945 Zack moved to Stockton, California, where he lived until his death of a heart attack in 1949.
