In 1930 Lee moved from Springfield, Ohio, to Charles Town, West Virginia. He married Josephine Michele in 1934. Josephine died of spinal meningitis in August 31, 1937. Lee married Ann Virginia Thompson on January 8, 1940. Lee and Ann had two children before Ann died of cancer on August 30, 1946. In 1948 Lee married Anita Biladeau. Lee and Anita had two children, Mary and Martha.
