Mary married Alexander Fryar of Clark township in Paris, Logan County, Arkansas. They moved to the Indian Territory and spent their married lives there. Mary, Alexander, and several of their children are buried at Braggs, Oklahoma. Mary's brother, John James "Jim" Churchman and his family later moved to the territory too.
