Joseph married Nancy Sherrill. She was a daughter of a nearby neighbor. Joseph and Nancy moved to Indian Territory. They died when they were quite young, leaving a son and two daughters. Their two youngest children later returned to Logan County, Arkansas. Abigail and also Tillman were married in Logan County, Arkansas. Abigail lived most of her life in Logan County. Tillman F. Churchman lived in the Paris area until his death. Their oldest child, Leona, married and lived in Indian T
erritory.
