Charles Allen Churchman

• Notes: Charles Allen was only 19 when he died. He was quite a horseman and won a trophy at the county fair. Pat Churchman has acquired some correspondence from young ladies that Charles had written to stating his love and devotion. Evidently, Charles had a real crush on his teacher who was enough older that she didn't think she should reciprocate his devotion, but seemed to feel quite a lot of affection for him, as did several other ladies.
